This Privacy Policy describes how SkateXtreme ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information within the SkateXtreme mobile application (the "App").

- Attendance records of enrolled lessons

- IP address & basic log data
- Usage analytics (navigation events, error logs)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and administer user accounts
- Schedule and manage lesson attendance
- Communicate updates, confirmations, and support responses
- Improve app reliability and user experience
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored with secure managed services (e.g. Supabase) employing:
- Secure authentication and session management
- Password hashing (never stored in plain text)
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies restricting access
- Encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS)
We apply role-based access for staff (coaches/admins) and monitor system logs for anomalous activity.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data. Limited sharing occurs with:
- Infrastructure/service providers strictly for operating the App
- Authorities when legally required (e.g. lawful requests)
- Authorized staff for lesson management and support
5. Children's Privacy
Child lesson attendance information is managed by coaches or by the parent/guardian account. Children under 13 cannot register independent accounts. We treat children's data with heightened care and limit exposure to authorized personnel only.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for operational, legal, and audit purposes. Attendance, billing, and financial records may be stored up to statutory minimums (often 5–7 years). You may request earlier deletion subject to legal constraints.
7. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we continuously improve controls and encourage strong user passwords and up-to-date devices.
8. Your Rights
You may request: (a) access to your data, (b) correction of inaccuracies, (c) deletion where legally permissible, and (d) clarification of processing. Submit requests via the support email below.
